Rosalind has taken the role as the Prophet’s leading physicist and as a result, always happens to be at the desk or the Lutece Laboratories in order to solve problems which ought to be disregarded. Both her and her dear brother, Robert, attend to Comstock’s needs which constitute chipping away at theories and experiments… Emporia is where the Lutece’s reside, though in this universe they can often be found around and about Columbia for various needs.
Both Luteces remain in Columbia, despite having ‘died’ within the accident induced by tinkering with the Lutece Device (courtesy of Jeremiah Fink and Zachary Comstock). What they are is ‘scattered’ among universes, time, so on and so forth… Their only purpose now is to undo what it is they have done via their creation and in order to do so, they bring a ‘false shepard’ to Columbia a great number of times so that he may ‘right their wrong’. It took one hundred and twenty two attempts before Booker DeWitt, the false shepard, had successfully fulfilled his 'purpose'… This verse takes place during the actual events of the game.

Rosalind finds herself becoming increasingly invested in the systems that come about via the vast cosmos. Mechanisms and the production of elements, organisms both dead and alive, universes which hold varying depictions of certian objects and the like… The only remaining link that this woman has with humanity is Pathos to her Logos— Robert Lutece. This state of being for her is one which she wouldn’t mind existing, despite it’s sickening effects on her long time companion. To rid herself of this knowledge would be blasphemous in her mind and so, she finds herself merely building abundant neural bridges and gaining the utmost capacity of knowledge.

Robert eventually is able to persuade his ‘sister’ to leave their current state of being between universes… Her only reason for making this sort of sacrifice toward more potential knowledge and the very comprehension that makes them themselves being Robert and the affections she has for him. In this universe, solved problems and mysteries become once again, problems and mysteries… Although a part of her feels somewhat empty, despite having been aware of exactly what, the woman is able to live the atypical human life within the suspended, haven-esque city she had perished… There are relocation possibilities for the Lutece’s in this universe, but for now, they will merely reside in Columbia.

Although this verse mainly follows Rosalind’s experiences as a young adult during her growth from secondary school and up toward higher education (Cambridge there after), this may also include her life as a child (primarily since her decision to become a physicist). Unlike most young girls of her age group, she is particularly bright and found with her nose shoved inside volumes concerning subjects that are much to advance for her (or what most would assume).

The Lutece’s were recreated during the Elizabethen Era of Europe by a fellow whom took a liking to their ‘likeliness’. One could imagine that if one of the pair had been in trouble, the other would immediately take action though it resulted in misfortune for them both regardless. As of now, they find themselves in the Victorian Era where they have constantly took to feeding and providing for one another in every way that’s possible.

In the midst of cowboys and prostitutes, there is a medicine woman who does not concern herself with the alternative methods… Although her primary passion is that of quantum physics (regarded as that of a hobby now), Lutece finds herself unable to make a career of the subject and instead attempts medicinal remedies for the townsfolk. She tends to keep to herself and not go poking her nose into trouble, but the Madame can’t help it since it always seems to come crawling to her.

After numerous years of experimentation on various elements and substances in the name of Physics, an anonymous individual had confided to the police that the woman had used an illegal material for testing. As a result, the physicist, along with her brother had been accused of being criminals… Although it inconvenienced her dreadfully, the Lutece woman had confessed to having used the substance solely (concerned for his well being, she was). In this period of time, Rosalind is found behind the bars of Columbia’s prison. She is joined by various other Columbian citizens and attempts to endure the years which she owes.
