is currently employed and on the verge of starting classes at a community college. not only are they quite busy with these things, but they are also a freelance artist seeking commissions. please be patient and understand that roleplaying is merely a hobby.
Stop asking people to do your fucking themes for you every other day and learn something for yourself? Literally, most people I know, who are really great at editing themes for characters… Only know… Because they experiment…. Why don’t you try it for a change instead of harassing other people about doing it for you. coughs.
I get that people have triggers. I get that. But it drives me nuts when I see people tagging triggers like ‘argument'… 'orange’. I’m like— no. I will never get to that point. There’s a difference between a fucking trigger and disliking something. Turns into Filthy Frank for this last bit—ALSO I REALLY FUCKING HATE WHEN PEOPLE—- ASK SOMEONE TO TAG A TRIGGER……. THAT THE WHOLE BLOG IS FILLED WITH?
I REMEMBER SEEING SOMEONE BITCHING ABOUT A ROLEPLAYER NOT TAGGING VIOLENT TRIGGERS—- EVEN THOUGH THE CHARACTER WAS A VIOLENT, HOMICIDAL, ETC. IN THE RULES IT SAYS THE TRIGGER IS CONSISTENT? WHY ARE YOU EVEN THERE? GO AWAY.
Stop slapping shitty FCs on characters because you’re lazy. If the face claim isn’t how you view the character your portraying and the only reason you give them the said FC is because they are attractive, just stop right there. I know, I understand, there is a lot you can work with when there’s a billion pictures of a specific celebrity/person… But if it’s something that you’re indifferent about to begin with, then why do it? You don’t need a FC to roleplay, a lot of people seem to forget this?
Well, for starters, I think that my character is wonderful and I love Rosalind terribly.. What I have to complain about though, is her absence in a lot of the game. I can’t say too much about that since there are characters such as Lady Comstock whom hadn’t even really been given any fucking exposure whatsoever but I’m sure you people know where I’m coming from. I just feel as though information about how the city came about with Rosalind and Comstock association though would be AMAZING.
While it is clarified various different instances in the game that Rosalind and Robert are two very, very different people– the majority of folks always just group them together and that always pisses me off. I felt as though there should have been more emphasis on their distinction, if possible. Such as giving Robert a voxophone or two so that people aren’t always assuming that she’s ridden with over evaluated emotions 24/7. The only time she’s found to be really passionate about anything really, is when she’s gushing about her brother, her profession, quizzical questions she’s motivated to find out, or complaining about how much of a sack of shit Comstock is.
What I could turn this into is how the fandom views Rosalind, but I won’t do that.
I’m always weary for blogs that are the personification of a specific word or object. Like, a lot of the time, the writers for said blogs are immensely talented and so forth… But I just don’t really see the appeal because a lot of things could clash and just? Blegh. I don’t know, it just is something I’m really iffy about because say, if you are essentially roleplaying a character that was inspired by a single word like ‘melancholy’—- would they feel other things, or just consistently be sad? I think that people tend to get a bit excited over it and overdue it.
❛ i can’t help but notice your fixation with the magnifying transmitter. ❜
Fixation, a term that hadn’t fell short of the sheer awe which was induced by the object and the mere notion of it’s creation. Again, it is proven that quantum mechanics alone isn’t the only sure way to engross the prim Madame Lutece.
“But of course, the potential for such a device is infinite.”
